Agnes E. Reinke Jr.

Agnes E. Reinke, age 93, a life-long resident of Beaver Dam, died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 511 South Spring Street in Beaver Dam, on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at church on Friday beginning at 11:00 AM. Fr. Michael Erwin will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in the Town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

The former Agnes Evelyn Malkowski was born on December 20, 1917 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to the late Frank and Tillie (Retichek) Malkowski. On February 12, 1945, she was united in marriage with Harland Reinke in Beaver Dam. Agnes worked at Weyenberg Shoe Factory in Beaver Dam and later at Wayland Academy before retiring in 1976. She was a member of St. Michael”s Catholic Church, currently St. Katharine Drexel Parish.

Survivors include her daughter, Gail (Tom) Backhaus of Oconomowoc; a son, Gary Reinke of Beaver Dam; and grandchildren. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and seven brothers and sisters.
