Agnes M. Edwards, age 80, of Beaver Dam, died peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
The visitation will be at Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. A Celebration of Life service will follow at the funeral home on Tuesday at 4:30 PM. John R. Leiting will be the celebrant. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
The former Agnes Mary Peck was born on June 10, 1931 to Floyd and Helen (Bartosch) Peck in Waterloo, Wisconsin. On February 2, 1977 she was united in marriage with Ivan Edwards in Rockford, Illinois. In her earlier years, Agnes worked at Lofberg”s Supervalu in Beaver Dam. Her hobbies included crafts, sewing and crocheting. Agnes enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and playing cards. In her most recent years, she was a volunteer at Beaver Dam Community Hospital for almost 10 years.
Survivors are her children, Patricia (Al) Vandeberg of Beaver Dam, Randall (Marge) Zellmer of Milwaukee, and Lori (Paul) Apfelbeck of Theresa, grandchildren, Steven Zellmer, Jessica (Shawn) Reilly, Christina (Mike) Keller, Fred (Dena) Parker, and Jennifer (Mark) Karsten, seven great grandchildren, nine step children, brothers and sisters, James Peck, of Beaver Dam, Leo (Marie) Peck of Tennessee, Leonard (Beverly) Peck of Tennessee, Robert Peck of Pennsylvania, Cathy (John) Wallace of Beaver Dam, Beatrice (James) Graff of Sun Prairie, Elmer (Sheila) Peck of Fond du Lac, a son-in-law, Marvin Parker of Sheboygan, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1995, a daughter, Karen Parker, infant sister, Ann, and sisters, Helen Mc Masters and Ruth Radtke.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Agnes Edwards” name to Hospice Home of Hope, 400 CR-K, Fond du Lac, WI 54937.
