Alexa J. Pieper, 77, a resident of Clearview Nursing Home passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
Funeral Services for Alexa will be on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam with the Rev. Mark Jensen officiating. A visitation will also be held on Friday, May 30th from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at North Burnett Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
Alexa June was born on June 26, 1936 the daughter of Alex and Esther (Zeitlow) Pieper in Burnett, Wisconsin.
Alexa was confirmed at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Burnett. She was a member of First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Alexa loved to crochet even though she was blind. She enjoyed playing canasta, loved to share stories and listen to WBEV. She also loved cats and birds.
Alexa is survived by and will be deeply missed by her sisters: Gracie Frank Ehlers of Burnett and Gladys Tucker of Waupun. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Rueben Pieper, nephew Shaun Tucker, brothers-in-law: Milford Tucker, Lloyd Frank and William Ehlers.
