Alva “Gene” Bell, Jr., 60 years old, of Theresa, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee.A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 22nd at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville, with the Rev. Joy Mortensen-Wiebe officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22nd from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville. Gene was born on December 17, 1956 to Alva Gene and Genevieve (Olsen) Bell, Sr. in Cheyenne, WY. He was united in marriage to Norma J. Krohn on September 21, 2001 at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville. Gene was formerly employed by Metalcraft of Mayville. Gene was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville. He enjoyed bowling and playing darts. He was an avid Cowboys fan. Gene also enjoyed whitewater rafting in Colorado.Gene is survived by: his wife- Norma of Theresa; his children- Tina (Kurt) Schrab of Mayville, Keith (Mia) Justman of Hartford and Jeremy Shane Bell of FL; his mother- Genevieve Bell of TX; his brothers & sisters- Jerry (Pamela) of TN, Robert of FL, Betty (Roberto) of TX, Brenda (Randy) of TN, Scott (Brenda) of CO, Jeff of TN, and Jeanie (Carley) of TX; his grandchildren- Jesse, Nikolas, Ella, and Olive; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Gene is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
