Angeline A. Wondra

Angeline A. Wondra (nee Flasch), age 90, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Agrace Center for Hospice & Palliative Care in Janesville.A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 11 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy, with the Rev. Father Don Thimm presiding. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, October 11 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will take place at St. Andrew Cemetery in LeRoy.Angeline was born the daughter of Joseph and Alvina (Ruplinger) Flasch on August 3, 1926 in St. Kilian. She was united in marriage to Arnold N. Wondra on May 19, 1945 in St. Kilian. She was a faithful member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy, the Christian Mothers, and Good Samaritan Guild. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, gardening, and canning. Family was also important to Angeline especially the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is survived by children- Kenneth Wondra of Apex, NC., Melvin (Jan) Wondra of Nathrop, CO., Jeanette (David) Gasner of Oregon, WI., and Evelyn (Harold) Gandre of Dublin, OH. Her sister- Alice Wondra of LeRoy. Sister in law- Eileen Flasch of Campbellsport. Her grandchildren- Kala (Drew) Hockenbrocht, Trent (fiancé Leslie) Wondra, Nicholas (Sora) Wondra, Katherine Wondra, Kevin (Maggie) Gasner, John (Amanda) Gasner, Angie Gasner, Ryan (Beth) Gandre, and Nicole Gilbert. Her great grandchildren- Eli, Geneva, Vienna, Fiona, Ian, Alexis, and Olivia. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.Angeline is preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold, sister Bernice Zenner, and brother Roland Flasch.Memorials may be directed to St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy or to Agrace Hospice in Janesville.
