Anna B. Schmidt

Anna B. Schmidt, 91 years old, of Mayville, WI, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Crossroads Care Center in Mayville.A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon with Rev. Daniel Seehafer officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 10 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. A luncheon will follow the service. Interment will take place at the Union Cemetery in Saukville.Anna was born on September 3, 1925 in Saukville, WI. the daughter of Carl and Augusta (Lubahn) Parnitzke. She is a graduate of Port Washington High School. She was employed by Home for Aged Lutherans in Milwaukee for many years. In her spare time Anna enjoyed playing sheepshead, polkas, sewing, and making crafts. She also enjoyed watching her sister Hilda’s garden and loved the time spent with her family. She was a member of St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon.Anna is survived by: her children- Carol (Jim) Golisch of Westfield, Ralph (Patty) Schmidt of Shawano, Darlene (Larry) Paulson of Oshkosh, Merlin Schmidt of Richfield, Ellen (Greg) Vieaux of Horicon, Gordon (Tom) Schmidt of Wind Lake, and Howard (Joy) Schmidt of Suring. Her daughter in law- Fran Schmidt. Her brother- William Pernitzke. 30 plus grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She is preceded in death by her parents, son Karl, granddaughter Dawn Schmidt, brother Robert Parnitzke, sisters Hilda Heilgendorf and Ida Koehler, and former husband William.Memorials may be directed to St. Stephen Ev.
