Annasthia Grogan, age 67, died Wednesday, December 21, 2012 in Burleson, Texas.
Visitation for Annasthia will be at the Murray Funeral Home in Horicon on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home on Tuesday at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery in Horicon.
Annasthia was born on August 3, 1944 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Warren and Lucille (Heid) Mead. Anna moved to Texas when she was 14 and she lived there her entire life. Annasthia was united in marriage with Howard Nezat on November 12, 1964; she later married Richard Grogan on June 18, 1982. After Richard died, she met Roy Dunn and they have been together for the past 27 years. Annasthia worked at JC Penny”s, then as a waitress in Grand Prairie, Texas for many years, and later retired from Kroger”s Grocery Store. She loved her cats and enjoyed traveling with Roy and fishing.
Survivors include her two children, Howard Nezat of Texas and James Nezat of Wautoma; her two sisters, Mary Moore of Wautoma and Cheryl Helms of Conway, Arkansas; her boy friend, Roy Dunn of Texas; nieces and nephews, Tammy (Don) Neste of Ft. Atkinson, Crystal Miller of Jefferson, Ridge Khunke of Whitewater, James Khunke of Whitewater, Leroy Moore of Wautoma, Mary Lou (Reuben) Johnson of Wild Rose, and Verlin (Teresa) Moore of Hancock; a brother-in-law, Joe Khunke of Whitewater, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Lucille Mead, her husband Richard Grogan, her brother, Gerald Mead and two sisters, Cecilia Myers and Mae Khunke.
