Anthony F. Cendretta, age 78, of Beaver Dam, died on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at UW Madison Hospital.
The visitation will be at Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM followed by burial at St. Patrick”s Cemetery in the Town of Beaver Dam, with Mike Wrzinski officiating.
Anthony Felix Cendretta was born on August 26, 1931 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to Joseph and Theresa (Champan) Cendretta. He was raised in the Milwaukee area, graduating from Milwaukee Lincoln High School. On February 26, 1966, he was united in marriage with Judy Berg in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. He worked at American Motors for several years, and then worked for Milwaukee County Transit for 15 years. In 1995, Anthony and his wife moved to Beaver Dam. In the past, they have enjoyed spending the winter months in Tucson, Arizona, where they would golf and take hikes in the mountains.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Judy of Beaver Dam, his sons, Gary (Amparo) Cendretta of Milwaukee, David (Peggy) Cendretta of Henderson, Nevada, daughter, Gina Olson of Ashippun, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Angie Buckner, and a brother, John Cendretta.
