Anton “Tony” Fritche, age 78, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.
The memorial service will be at St. Stephen”s Ev. Lutheran Church on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Mark T. Wendland officiating
Anton Harold Fritche was born on February 21, 1931, to Anton and Lorraine (Thorn) Fritche in Hartford, Wisconsin. On April 18, 1950, he was united in marriage with Margaret Best in the Town of Barton, Washington County, Wisconsin. Tony enjoyed playing saxophone and clarinet in many bands including the Push and Pull, Harold Steinbach Band and Nubby and the Polka Dots. His hobby was building and colleting model cars. Tony will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret “Peggy” Fritche, five sons, one daughter, 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two brothers, one sister and many other family and friends. Tony was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Anton H. Fritche”s name to St. Stephen”s Ev. Lutheran Church, 300 West St. Beaver Dam, WI, 53916.
