Arline Wrucke, age 77, of Horicon, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Mayville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation for Arline will be at St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church in Horicon on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Funeral services will follow at church on Wednesday, beginning at 12:00 Noon. Rev. Daniel Seehafer will officiate. Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery in Horicon.
The former Arline Dorothy Bender was born on January 3, 1933 in Cambria, Wisconsin to the late Elmer and Dorothy (Smith) Bender. On October 15, 1955, she was united in marriage with Royce S. Wrucke in Manchester, Wisconsin. Arline was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Throughout her life she enjoyed family and friends; some of her other loves included reading (on all subjects) and geneology. She was a long-time member of St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church in Horicon and she worked at US Bank in Horicon from the mid 1980”s to the early 1990”s.
Survivors include her husband, Royce Wrucke of Horicon; three children, Scott Wrucke of Beaver Dam, Joanne (Rick) McMillan of Horicon, and Dianne (J.C.) Paustian of Neenah; her son-in-law, Michael Schwartz of Neshkoro; nine grandchildren, Benjamin (Katie) Schwartz of Horicon, Bethany (Ryan) Borchardt of Mayville, Brianna Schwartz of Neshkoro, Stephanie (Greg) Smith of Minneapolis, Shane Wrucke of West Bend, Jacob McMillan of Horicon, Brian McMillan of Horicon, Kendra Paustian of Neenah, and J.J. Paustian of Neenah; four great grandchildren, Carter and Christian Schwartz, and Payton and Michielah Borchardt; two sisters, Beverly Gradel of Beaver Dam and Nancy (Curtis) Brown of Markesan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Arline was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Schwartz, her parents, and two brothers.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Arline Wrucke”s name to St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church, 505 N. Palmatory Street in Horicon.
