Arline G. Mittelstadt, age 91, died on Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Clearview Long-term Care and Rehabilitation Center, in Juneau.
Friends may call on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 127 West Maple Avenue, at 10:00 AM until the time of service. The Mass of Christian Burial for Arline will be held on Wednesday, at the church, at 11:00 AM with Fr. John Schreiter officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick”s Cemetery, Town of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.
The former Arline Genevieve Braeker was born on June 15, 1916 to the late Henry and Viola (Bonkonski) Braeker. Arline was a life long resident of Beaver Dam and was a 1934 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. On September 5, 1953, she was united in marriage with Stanley Mittelstadt at St. Michael”s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. Arline was a 20 year employee of Weyenberg Shoe Company and was an Assistant Manager of the Campbell Store in Beaver Dam. She was a member of St. Michael”s Catholic Church where she was active in The Rosary Society, The Sacred Heart League, The Apostolate of suffering and the St. Michael”s Choir.
Arline is survived by her son, Leon (Ginger) Mittelstadt, Beaver Dam, six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one cousin, Mary Ann Miller, Beaver Dam, a son-in-law, Raymond Griggel, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Stanley in 1956, a son Harold “Hap” Mittelstadt, a daughter, Dorothy Griggel, a sister, Beatrice Muhle, a brother, Ronald Braeker, and two great grandchildren.
The Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is serving the family.
