Armond A. Benter

Armond A. Benter, age 91, of Lomira, formerly of Theresa passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mayville, WI.A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm. Entombment will take place at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Fond du Lac, WI. Armond was born the son of Charles and Louise Benter on April 19, 1923 in Theresa, Wisconsin. He was united in marriage to Erla Mae Harrison on May 15, 1946 in Theresa. He farmed in the Tn. of Theresa and retired from Maysteel Corporation. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, reading, westerns, and spending time with his family. Armond was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lomira.Armond is survived by his children; Ron Benter of Oshkosh, WI., Barbara DeLeon of Walnut Creek, CA., and Christine Toellner of LaCrosse, WI. His grandchildren; Jason (Alexandra) Benter, Jeffrey DeLeon, and Ryan DeLeon. His sister- Elvira Benter of Madison. His sister in law- Lucille Benter of Fond du Lac. Further survived by other relatives & friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Erla Mae in 2011, 2 brothers Alfred and Erwin, and 3 sisters Amanda Bogenschneider, Evelyn Beck, and Hertha Dogs.
