Arnold H. Lange, 90, died Thursday November 22, 2012 at New Care Convalescent Center in Crivitz.
Friends may call at Murray Funeral Home, 131 East Maple Avenue in Beaver Dam, on Monday, November 26, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 11:00 AM with Luther Raine and Stanley March officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
Arnold was born June 21, 1922 in Allegan, MI to the late Arthur and Meta (Reinhardt) Lange. He married Adeline Buske on October 7, 1943 in Beaver Dam; they were married for 67 years before she preceded him in death in 2011. Arnold and Adeline lived in Columbus the early part of their marriage, then moved to Beaver Dam until 2006. They then resided with their daughter Marilyn (Carl) Schulz in the Town of Lake, in Marinette County. He spent the last three years at New Care Convalescent Center, Crivitz. He was employed at Metal Fab Inc., in Beaver Dam for many years and was the Treasurer of the M&M Credit Union. In his years after retirement, he worked at the Campus Inn. Arnold loved working on puzzles and telling of his Manitowoc Ship Building experience, welding on the Peto during WWII.
Arnold is survived by two daughters Sharon (Roger) Swanson, Rockford, IL; Marilyn (Carl) Schulz, Town of Lake; two sons Duane (Sandy) Lange and David (Jody) Lange, Beaver Dam; seven grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Howard (Edna) Lange, Columbus, WI and a sister Gertrude Colette, Iola, WI; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by a grandson and a brother Ervin.
