Arthur G. Lenz

Arthur G. Lenz, age 86, of Reeseville, died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the Charleston House Memory Care in Beaver Dam.

Visitation for Arthur will be at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Reeseville on Thursday, May26, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at church on Thursday at 6:00 PM. Rev. Donald Steinberg will officiate. Private burial will be at Reeseville Cemetery.

Arthur George Lenz was born on November 1, 1924 in the Town of Lowell, Dodge County, Wisconsin to the late Arthur W. and Lola (Gogert) Lenz. After graduating from Reeseville High School in 1942, he farmed the family farm for many years. On June 22, 1946, Art was united in marriage with Vivian Young at Trinity Lutheran Church. They were members at Trinity until moving to Reeseville and transferring their membership to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Art served on the Board of Directors at the State Bank of Reeseville for 24 years. He had a love for classic Chevrolet trucks and was a member of the Classic Chevy Club of Wisconsin.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian Lenz of Beaver Dam; three children, William (Beverly) Lenz of Eden, Krista (Clifford) Goeller of Orlando, FL, and Carol (Edwin) Olson of Neillsville; four grandchildren, Brian Lenz of Fond du Lac, Michael Lenz of Eden, Debra Lenz of Campbellsport, and Joshua Olson of Marietta, PA; and one great granddaughter, Brianna Lenz.

Art was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Wayne Lenz, and an infant brother.

If desired, memorials may be made in Arthur G. Lenz”s name to Hillside Homecare/Hospice, 709 S. University Avenue, Beaver Dam, WI 53916.

What I will always remember about my cousin Cindy:
-She loved to dance
-She taught me and my sister Janet how to dance when we were young.
-She would always had different hair styles and colors.
-Her numberous ear piercings.
-how proud she was of her tatoos.
-her burgandy Pacer bubble car.
-When she lived on N. 84th St with her friend Vicki. How much I really wanted to have my own apartment.

I will always remember that Cindy was a happy and caring person. Even with all the medical challenges she faced, she always had a smile on her face even though she was in so much pain.

I really believe Cindy passed away from a broken heart. It was time for God to take Cindy to a better place where she was pain free. She is no longer suffering. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
