Arthur J. Karus, age 62, of Beaver Dam, died on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital

Friends and family may gather at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam on Thursday, June 14, 2012 beginning at 9:00 AM with a graveside service that will follow at 10:00 AM.

Arthur Joseph Karus was born on September 9, 1949 to Arthur and Alice (Weaver) Karus in Beaver Dam. He was a hard working, family man. For 40 years, Art worked as a demolitionist, many of those years at Beaver Wrecking. He enjoyed camping with family and friends and was a Packer Fan.

Survivors are his children, Jason Karus (Heather Muhle) of Beaver Dam and Heather (Bobby) Buschke of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Hannah, Claire and Dylan Karus, Bailey and Brennan Buschke; brothers and sisters, Mike (Diane) Karus, Tony Karus, Stan Karus, Jesse (Maureen) Patrick, Pauline (Rodney) Schrank, and Debbie (Basil) Shuga; special friend, Carol McDougal; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John Flatt and Richard Karus, and an infant son, Christopher.
