Bernice E. Schultz, age 88, of Fox Lake, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Golden Living – Continental Manor in Randolph.
The visitation will be at St. John”s Lutheran Church, 110 Edgelawn Drive in Fox Lake, on Monday, May 14, 2012 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. The funeral service will follow at the church on Monday at 11:00 AM with Rev. David Nottling officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Fox Lake.
The former Bernice Evelyn Laue was born December 21, 1923 to Elmer & Minnie (Bahr) Laue. She was a long-time member of St. John”s Lutheran Church in Fox Lake, having lived most of her life in the Fox Lake area. She married Howard Schultz in June of 1946.
Surviving are her children, Rick (Alana) Schultz of Winter and Randy (Cindy) Schultz of Racine; her grandchildren, Rob (Renee) Schultz, of Fox Lake, Wendy Schultz of West Bend, Justin Schultz of Racine, Stephanie Schultz of LaCrosse, Tiffany Schultz, Megan Schultz and Gavin Schultz, all of Racine, her great grandchildren, Aydan, Hunter, and Karena. Bernice is also survived by step-grandchildren, Erik (Wendy) Bloohm of Richfield, Amanda (Shannon) Alberts of DePere, Heidi Bloohm of Brownsville, and Phillip (Nikki) Bloohm, also of Brownsville. She is further survived by her three brothers, Kenneth (Carol) Laue of Beaver Dam, Gordon (Gwen) Laue of Beaver Dam and Vernon (Sue) Laue of Rolling Prairie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Robert, and a brother, Mervin Laue.
