Bettyann Krueger

Bettyann Krueger, age 80, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2014 at Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation in Fond du Lac.A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10:30 am at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac with the Rev. Richard Engen officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 4-7 pm at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville and again on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the church in Fond du Lac. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville.Betty was born on February 19, 1934 in the Township of Theresa, the daughter of Max and Ella (nee Hundertmark) Wendler. She was married to Wilmer ‘Wimpy’ Krueger on February 11, 1950 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville. He predeceased her on December 8, 1980.Betty worked in a variety of places during her life, including California Canners and Growers in Lomira and Tab Products in Lomira and Mayville. Following her retirement, she also worked at Action Advertiser. Later in life, she especially enjoyed volunteering at the PASS Clinic at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.Betty’s joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild. She attended many events, and was so proud of all of them. Betty was also an excellent cook and enjoyed many family gatherings.Survivors include her four children- Donna Krueger of Fond du Lac, Sharon (Dennis) Toellner of Wisconsin Rapids, Debbie (John) Kehrmeyer of North Fond du Lac, and Shar (Russ) Raube of Fond du Lac. Her grandchildren- Jason Toellner and Matthew Toellner, Dustin Kehrmeyer and Kristin Kehrmeyer, Kyler Raube and Jake Raube. One great grandchild- Aiden Kehrmeyer. She is also survived by one sister in law- Eunice Okon of Mayville, one brother in law- Roger Krueger of Montello. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was proceeded in death her parents, husband, one brother Reinhold Wendler, three sisters Eleanore Luehring, Gertrude Korth, Maxine Hinojosa, four sisters in law Edna Wendler, Delores Krueger, Doris Krueger, Ruth Bintzler, four brothers in law Oswald Luehring, Lester Korth, Harvey Krueger, and Richard Okon, two nieces, and two nephews.Betty’s family wishes to thank Dr. Derek Colmennares and Dr. Cheryl Tapp of Agnesian Healthcare, the staff of Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation, and Agnesian Hospice for their compassionate care that they provided to Betty and her family.
