Beverly J. Lopez, age 81 of Horicon, WI passed away on Friday, January 23, 2014 at All About Life nursing home in Fond du Lac.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Life Fellowship, Mayville, WI with Pastor David Cook officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Inurnment will take place at a later date.Beverly was born the daughter of Otto and Alyce (Plautz) Zander on October 18, 1933. Beverly was united in marriage to Gonzalo Lopez on October 28, 2009. She was a member of Christian Life Fellowship. Through her life Beverly worked various jobs such as Stokley, West Bend Company, Marlin Toy Factory, Curry’s, and Jubilee. She also was the owner of Ma’s Place which was a consignment shop in Horicon. In her spare time Beverly loved to help the community in which she lived. She was fundamental in organizing the fundraising for obtaining defibrillators for the Horicon Police Department. She also enjoyed thrift shopping, making candles, sewing and collecting mice figurines. She will also be remembered for her ability to bake and cook for her family.Beverly is survived by her husband Gonzalo of Horicon. Her children- Randy (Carol) Kamrath of Beaver Dam, Cindy Kamrath of Horicon, Patti (Rob) Jacobs of Freeport, IL., and Stan Kamrath of Fox Lake. Her grandchildren- Serena, Franny, Alicia, Mario, Michael, and Ashley. Her great grandchildren- Calvin, Gage, Kaydance, Serenity, and Taya. Her brother- Carlton (Pat) Zander of Andalusia, AL. Also Christina Zook of TX. who Beverly helped raised and guided her though her early life. Further survived by nieces & nephews, other relatives & friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings- Virginia Zander, William Zander, and Mardell Gunn.
