We have many memories of Blaine during his years at St. Mary's School being a classmate of our daughter, Alicia; and in later years the surprise of him standing at our back door as the Schwan's delivery man! Our deepest sympathy Lon, Mary Jo, and Heidi and the rest of your family. Even the midst of sadness we're hoping you can feel the thoughts of caring and support that surround you today.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Mary Jo and Lon, Heidi, BJ, Brad and Serenity: Serenity was so blessed to have had Blaine for a Dad. Make sure to talk about him to her, to keep her memories of him alive. My Dad died when I was young and my brothers never wanted to talk about him because it hurt too much, but now I have limited memories of him and a counselor I talked to told me that may be the reason why. My prayers go out to you and your family. It's so hard to let go of someone we love. When my cousin died in his 20's the priest talked about how death is much like a graduation. Some of us are ready to graduate sooner than others. We are sad because we want them here with us, but that priest challenged us to be happy for the one who has died instead of being sad. Blaine got to graduate before the rest of us. He gets to feel the ultimate peace and love before the rest of us. Yes, you will be sad and miss him, but really, he’s the one who got to go to the next level.

Letting you know that prayer are being said at this difficult time for your family. I personally didn't know Blaine just knew he was in my daughters Tanya class. Its very difficult to lose someone at such a young age. I know the sorrow never goes away but hopefully everyday you will find comfort thinking of all the good memories and I am sure seeing his daughter will remind you of your son.
