My daughter just called me and told me about Brian''s death...I was his foster parent in Pinellas Park, Fla. I am so sorry to hear that this has happened. He was a good boy when I had him little mixed up but as time went on he became a good person with a good heart.All he needed was alot of Love an attention which he got from all the kids that I had.He was one of the special kids that I had an loved him very much. I send my condolences to the family. He will be missed/

I knew Brian back in the 79-81'' we were 16-- 17. He came from a defunct family and was in the care of great foster parents, Curtis and (at the moment I can not remember her name) Brown. I became pregnant and Brian moved away. His son is Vantz Michael Stockwell will be 31 on April 4th and I believe eh would love to meet or speak with his half-sisters. I have tried periodically to find him and let him know his son was interested in him. However, it obviously wasn''t meant to be. I am sad today to hear of his passing and pray that his family will know that he was a good man even with his troubles. You have my condolences and Blessings. Gayle Stockwell Hutchings

Brian was the biological father of my daughter Connie. When he was with her he tried very hard to be a good father. I was told shortly before meeting him I would never have a child. He gave me, my Connie, and for that I will always Love him. His Daughters Here in Richmond, Va. were the best things that Brian ever did here. Connie, our daughter, has two babies and one on the way. Our, mine & Brian''s grandchildren are beautiful. His, granddaughter Asia Angeline is 16 months old She has his beautiful blue eyes and blond hair. His Grandson Shane Jr. is 6 months and a strong handsome boy. Connie is carrying our third grand child a girl, she will be born in late October or early November she will be named Mandalynn Mae. Our daughter and Grandchildren are why I will always say a prayer for Brian. So rest Easy (Spider-Monkey) Brian I''ll poor us a "Fuzzy Naval" and say a prayer for you.

Brian was never around when I was growing up. So, I really don''t know if he could have been a great dad or not. But, I was stricken by news of his passing. To find out that on of your parents is dead is saddening. I can''t say that I will miss him, but he will be missed by some. I am sorry to his family.
