Bruce R. Wills, age 87, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away on July 15, 2015 at Kathy Hospice in West Bend. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 21 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Milwaukee, with Rev. Father Greg Greiten presiding. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21 from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. at church. A luncheon will follow the mass. Inurnment and military honors will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.Bruce was born on December 13, 1927 the son of Russell and Lillie (Hammerlund) Wills in Norway, MI. Bruce graduated with a Masters degree in accounting from Marquette University. Bruce was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII and was stationed in Tokyo and earned the WWII Victory Medal. He was united in marriage to Betty Weber on July 12, 1952 in Milwaukee. He worked as an accountant until retirement. He was a member of St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee.Bruce was an avid fan of Wisconsin sports, cheering on the Brewers, Packers, and the Badgers. He will be fondly remembered as a devoted husband and father. Bruce is survived by his children- Barbara Wills of Milwaukee, Robert (LaRue) Wills of Juneau, and Kathleen (Dennis) Czarnyszka of Jacksonville, FL. His 5 grandchildren- Annette Guida, Courtney Waters, Michele Vandestreek, Ryan Wills, and Abigael Loehrke. His 4 great grandchildren- Ayden, Marshall, Preston, and Peyton. His brothers- Warren Wills of MI., and Doug Wills of West Bend. His sister- Lorraine Jaworski of Atlanta, GA. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty, and his son Mark.*Bruce’s family wishes to thank the staff at Kathy Hospice in West Bend for all of their care and support.
