Carol A. Lechner

Carol A. Lechner, 79, of Beaver Dam passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam. Carol was born the daughter of Otto M. “Doc” and Edna E. (Oberdick) Lechner on August 23, 1938 in Beaver Dam. She was a 1956 graduate of Wayland Academy. She attended Madison Business College and received her B.S. at UW-Whitewater in 1967. Carol was employed in nursing care with several nursing facilities in the area. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Carol is survived by cousins, a special friend, Betty Larson of Beaver Dam as well as other friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Paul Stratman will officiate. Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Horicon. Memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice. A special thank you is extended to the staffs of Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam and the Beaver Dam Dialysis Center for their care and support given over the years.
