She received her elementary education in Beaver Dam and attended Beaver Dam High School. She later attended Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills where she graduated from. At a young age, Carol worked at the Weyenberg Shoe Factory in Beaver Dam. On December 11, 1975, she was united in marriage to Roy Richard Rohn at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Carol was a baptized and faithful member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She was a very talented artist and enjoyed drawing many pictures. Carol, her husband Roy and their daughter Lisa had wonderful times spent as a family at Rock Lake where they went swimming, rock collecting, picnicking and walking along the sandy beach. They also enjoyed fishing in Beaver Dam Lake and Fox Lake, hiking the Horicon Marsh Trails and hiking at Devil’s Lake. They also enjoyed going to Wisconsin Dells and Madison’s East Towne Mall and shopping in all the stores. At Lake Delton, the whole family enjoyed walking the beautiful beach and they had fun watching a large dog playing catch with a Frisbee. Both, Carol and Roy took excellent care of their beloved daughter Lisa. When Lisa was ill for an extended time, at St. Agnes Hospital, they made the journey to see her every single day. They made every day special and truly enjoyed spending time together as a family having fun just being together.
