Clifford R. Schwartz, age 84, of Beaver Dam, died on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
The visitation will be at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 127 W. Maple Ave. in Beaver Dam on Friday, April 9, 2010 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the church on Friday at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at St. Patrick”s Cemetery in the Town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin. Military Honors will be presented by the John E. Miller American Legion Post #146. A luncheon will follow at the church in the fellowship hall.
Clifford Reynold Schwartz was born on December 7, 1925 in Marshall, Wisconsin to Harold and Olive (Allen) Schwartz. On June 24, 1950 he was united in marriage with Deloris Powers at St. Jerome”s Catholic Church in Columbus. Cliff worked at Monarch Range then at 33 Furniture Store for over 20 years as a carpet installer and manager. He served in the US Air Force, 466th Signal Corp doing heavy construction. Cliff was a member of the Beaver Dam Senior Citizen Center and St. Katharine Drexel Parish.
Survivors are his wife, Deloris of Beaver Dam, sons, Kenneth (Roberta) Schwartz of Beaver Dam, Dale (Sandy) Schwartz of Columbus, and Jim (Julie) Schwartz of Beaver Dam, daughter, Jodene (David) Lange of Beaver Dam, four grandchildren, Kip, K.C., and Jenny Schwartz, and Kristle Lange, four sisters, Barbara Missar of Fenwood, Ethel Riehbrandt of Wausau, Orpha Schwartz of Texas, and Oral Wallow of Minnesota, a brother, Ivan Schwartz of Texas, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant grandchildren, three sisters, Joanne, Cora, and infant Lois, and a brother, Jerome Schwartz.
