



Memorial Services for Clyde (Butch) O’Neill Burden, age 52, of Burnett, will be at Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 2:30 PM with Rev. Jeff Casper officiating. He died peacefully at home on Saturday, August 28, 2010 following a long courageous battle with metastatic lung cancer. A memorial gathering will be at the funeral home on Friday before the service from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
Butch was born on September 19, 1957 to Frank and Anita Rae (nee: Lindsey) Burden, Jr. in Kentucky. He was a painter by trade and owned his own business, J&B Painting. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Janke Burden and his eight children; Genny, Patrick, Samantha, Mariuh, Trent, Cody, Tyler, and Dylan. Butch also is survived by five sister”s and one brother; Sandra (Mike) Corbin, Linda (Wallace) Possich, June Siemons, Tina Walton, Debi Burden (Gus Gibson), and Dale Burden. Survivors also include four grandchildren, seven nephews, and seven nieces. Butch was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to express its deepest gratitude to Dr. Lambert, Dr. Vander-Kooy, Dr Chambers, Tammie and Chris, and Hospice for the love, care, and kindness extended to Butch during his illness. All of Butch”s family was so very proud of him as he touched ours and other lives in so many ways. Our lives are better for having had him in it. We love you Butch.
