Darlene E. “Blossom” Miller, age 76, was called to her mansion in glory on September 1, 2018. A casual time of gathering and reminiscing will take place on Sunday, September 9th from 1-5 p.m. at the Savanna Oaks Community Center (100 Savanna Rd, Fall River, WI 53932) with food being served throughout the gathering time. Darlene was born on May 1, 1942 in Columbia County, Wisconsin to the late Clarence and Clara (Holtz) Bengsch. She graduated from Fall River High School in 1960. On August 19, 1961, she was united in marriage with Donald H. Miller in Waukegan, Illinois. Darlene worked at the Adams-Columbia Electric Co-Op in Columbus and Pardeeville for many years, retiring in 2002. She was an active member of the Rio Assembly of God Church where she taught Sunday School, worked in the nursery, and was president of the Women’s Ministries. Darlene was very caring and was known for always sending greeting cards for birthdays, anniversaries or other special occasions to everyone at church. She loved Jesus her Savior and was a prayer warrior, loving and praying for all. Darlene took special pleasure in loving her grandchildren. When she was younger, Darlene enjoyed sewing, gardening, and canning. Survivors include her husband, Donald Miller of Calamus Township.; four children, Ann (Heather) Miller of Beaver Dam, Pam (Kim) Bauer of Wyocena, Fran (Paul) Zielsdorf of Schofield, and Sam Miller of Randolph; eight grandchildren, Breeann and Nathan Bauer, David and Andrew Zielsdorf, Derrick and Donovan Miller and Jada and Joseph Jones; her sister, Diana Neuneder of Milwaukee; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers and sisters, Darwin Bengsch, Doris Stachowiak, Delilah Lange, and Duane Bengsch.
