Darrell Clarence Paar

Darrell C. Paar, age 69, of Reeseville, died on Monday, August 29, 2011 at his home.

The visitation will be at Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville on Saturday, September 3, 2011 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Medina Cemetery in Marshall with military honors provided by the Lowell VFW.

Darrell Clarence Paar was born on the family farm in Reeseville to Norbert and Leona (Coles) Paar. He grew up in the Reeseville area and was the class of 1959 valedictorian of Reeseville High School. Darrell served in the US Air Force from 1963 until his honorable discharge in 1967. He worked for many years at Milbrew in Juneau, retiring in 2006. Darrell enjoyed helping his brother on his beef cattle farm and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a collector of different items that he found over the years.

Darrell is survived by his brother, Bob (Barb) Paar of Reeseville, nieces and nephews, Keith (DJ) Paar, Tina (Don) Gregory, Robert (Shelli) Paar, Jr., Greg Paar, and Dawn (fiancAC., Kevin Borth) Paar, great nieces and great nephews, Nick Paar, Shawn Gregory, and Hunter, Aubrey, and Amelia Paar, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
