David P. Hartman, age 77, of Juneau, died on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.
The visitation for David will be at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 511 S. Spring St. in Beaver Dam, on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the church on Friday at 11:00 AM with Fr. Mike Erwin officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter”s Cemetery, Town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
David Paul Hartman was born on May 13, 1934 to George and Edminnie (Schrap) Hartman, Sr. in Beaver Dam. He attended St. Norbert High School and College in De Pere. David went on to law school at UW Madison. On October 27, 1956, he was united in marriage with Carol Lindert at Immaculate Conceception Catholic Church in Juneau. He practiced law at his family firm, Hartman”s Law Office, in Juneau. David volunteered his time as a driver for Dodge County and was often the driver of choice for many. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Juneau and in his later years, attended St. Katharine Drexel Church.
Survivors are his children, Luke Hartman of Green Bay, Linda Hartman of Beaver Dam, Amy (Charles) McPherson of Beaver Dam, Matthew Hartman of Fond du Lac, Rebecca (Tom) Kubat of Beaver Dam, Eva (Tom) Ptaschinski of Beaver Dam, Stephen (Susie) Hartman of Soquel, CA, and Kate Hartman of Oconomowoc, 17 grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, Sr. Anna Maria Hartman of Mary Knoll, NY and Mary Baker of Little Rock, AR, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son, Joseph, brothers, Robert, Ralph, George, Leo and Bruce, and sisters, Eva Kuhn and Rita Bennetts.
The family suggests that memorials be made in David P. Hartman”s name to St. Katharine Drexel Church.
