Delores Jane Bock, age 86, of Hustisford, went to Heaven on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Mayville Nursing & Rehabilitation.
A memorial gathering will be held at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hustisford on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. A memorial service will follow at the church on Friday beginning at 5:30 PM with Rev. Timothy Bauer officiating. Inurnment will be at the Hustisford Cemetery.
Delores was born on April 11, 1926 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to the late Herbert and Frieda (Schmidt) Mintzlaff. On August 19, 1944, she was united in marriage with Henry C. Bock at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hustisford. Delores” family was her life; she cared for her parents, her husband, her children and grandchildren. She would go with her husband and help him clean when he worked for Medalist Industries in Hustisford. She was a wonderful cook and baker and will be remembered for her Schaum Torte and other delicious baked goods. Delores also enjoyed embroidery and made a Christmas stocking for every member of her family, and a few others as well. She thoroughly enjoyed going out to listen to Don Peachey and would go any chance she had. Delores was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hustisford.
She will be fondly remembered and missed by her three children, David (Kathie) Bock of Hustisford, Sheryl Salmon of Grapevine, Texas, and Duane (Annette) Bock of West Bend; seven grandchildren, Jeremy (Melissa) Bock of DePere, Trisha (Peder) Monis of Ashippun, Kevin (Amanda) Salmon of Houston, Texas, and Tracie, Chelsey, Megan, and Cole Bock, all of West Bend; six great grandchildren, Elise, Amelia, Meredith, and Anderson Bock, and Abigail and Jack Monis; her brother, Gene (Janice) Mintzlaff of Hustisford; a sister-in-law, Doris Bock of Poynette; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Delores was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a great grandson, Grant Monis; and two brothers-in-law, Wally & Doris Bock and Harold Bock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church New Carpet Fund.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mayville Nursing & Rehabilitation, Generations Hospice, and the Harbor Barber Girls for the love and care they showed to Delores.
