Delores L. Neitzel

Delores L. Neitzel, 90 years old, of Lomira and formerly of Mayville, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Hope Senior Living in Lomira.A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 16th at 5:00 p.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville, with the Rev. Mark Wilkens officiating. A visitation will be on Tuesday, February 16th from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at St. John Church in Mayville. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery, Mayville.Delores Laura Neitzel was born on September 4, 1925 to Arnold H. and Ella E. (Fischer) Neitzel in the township of Lomira. She was a graduate of Mayville High School. Delores was a long time employee of M & I Bank of Mayville.Delores was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville, where she served on various boards and committees. She was the secretary of finance for St. John Cemetery Association. She was a member of Mayville Senior Center and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Delores enjoyed quilting, Bible study, and playing cards. Delores is survived by many cousins, including two special cousins Diane and Carol. She is preceded in death by her parents.Memorials may be made to St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville.
