Delores Theresa Weinberger, age 92, of Mayville passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Seasons Hospice Center in Waukesha. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 12 p.m. (noon) at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Tom Biersack presiding. A visitation for Delores will take place at the church prior from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass at noon. Burial will be held at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Mayville.Delores was born October 25, 1925 in Juneau, the youngest of four children of Delbert and Clara (Meer) Duncan. She married Joseph F. Weinberger on June 13, 1945 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Delores was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mayville. She joined the Third Order of St. Francis in 1960, was a rosery leader, prayer line caller, gave communion to the sick, was active for over 50 years in the Mission Quilters, and St. Mary’s Quilters and for many years made and embroidered the church baptism dresses. She was also a member of the Fireside Campers. Survivors include: her 9 children; Richard (Elaine) Weinberger of North Fond du Lac, David (Valerie) Weinberger of Venice, FL, Clara Weinberger of West Allis, Jordan Weinberger of Tomahawk, Joan (James) Noren of Kewaskum, Beth (Russell) Hartwig of Suamico, Laure (Wayne Sr.) Hartwig of Horicon, Jacob (Judy) Weinberger of Mayville, Peter (Wendy) Weinberger of LeRoy, 1 brother-in-law; Lawrence Zimmer of Menomonee Falls, 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild. Delores is further survived by other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2006, daughter in law; Cheri (Kobishop) Weinberger, grandson; Jared Noren, 2 great-grandsons; Wil Arndt and Bo Hartwig, and 3 brothers; Stan, Claude and Floyd.
