Donald Charles Mulvaney

Donald C. Mulvaney, age 86, died on Sunday, September 27, 2009, at his home in Lowell.

The visitation will be on Thursday, October 1, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville. There will also be a visitation on Friday, October 2, 2009 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at United Church of Christ in Lowell. The funeral service will follow on Friday at 11:00 AM at the church with Rev. Carol Lange officiating. Burial will be at Lowell Cemetery, following the service. The Lowell VFW Post #9392 will present military honors.

Donald Charles Mulvaney was born on May 1, 1923, in the Town of Lowell, Dodge County, Wisconsin, to Charles and Viola (Ladwig) Mulvaney. On October 10, 1942, he was united in marriage with Edna Schultz in Lowell. Donald worked for the Dodge County Highway Department for 42 years. He was a past member of the Lowell Village Board and Reeseville American Legion. He was also a member of the Lowell Fire Department.

Donald is survived by his son, Dennis (Sharon) Mulvaney, Lowell, daughters, Terri (Carl) Wolff, Lowell and Holly Mulvaney (Special friend, Don Kennedy), Beaver Dam, ten grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, brothers, Wilbert (Marie) Mulvaney, Richmond, VA, and Duane (Delaine) Mulvaney, Reeseville, sister, Joann (Lester) Peck, Friendship, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Edna, and his sisters, Marion and Darlene Mulvaney.

The family suggests that memorial”s be made in Donald C. Mulvaney”s name to United Church of Christ, 710 Watertown Rd., Lowell, WI, 53557 or UW Carbone Cancer Clinic, 600 Highland Ave., K4-658, Madison, WI, 53792.
