Donna M. Bernard

Donna M. Bernard, age 75, of Watertown passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Marquardt Hospice in Watertown.A memorial gathering for Donna will take place on Friday, July 6 from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. Inurnment will take place at Union Cemetery in Theresa.Donna was born the daughter of Alphonse and Lucille (Loehrke) Bernard on September 25, 1942 in Mayville. Donna was confirmed into faith at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville in 1956. She was a 1961 graduate of Mayville High School and graduated from the Dodge County Teacher’s College in 1963. Donna had worked at the Bethesda Lutheran Home for over 37 years. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville. In her spare time, Donna enjoyed crafts, crocheting, flowers, and travel.Donna is survived by her niece- Pati Bernard of Ohio, her nephews- Don (Kim) Bernard of Raleigh, NC., Dan (Janet) Bernard of Satellite Beach, FL., and Tim Bernard of Raleigh, NC. Her special friend Vivian Bogenschneider. Further survived by other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings- Gloria (Wayne) Widrig, Ralph Bernard, Beverly Bernard, and June Bernard.In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville.
