Dorothy, in addition to keeping a lovely home, kept busy crocheting afghans, gardening, caning chairs, and knitting for her children and grandchildren. She took daily walks with her husband Fred and they built three houses together from scratch. She loved to cook holiday meals for family gatherings, and had time for poker now and then. Dorothy found joy in the simple things in life.
Surviving are her husband Fred Lambert, Beaver Dam, daughters, Marilyn (Gary) McNabb, Eugene, OR, Susan (Peter) Flanders, Watsonville, CA, and a son Robert (Bridgette) Lambert, Anacortes, WA, six grandchildren, Grace McNabb, Casey McNabb, Emily Flanders, Alan Flanders, Claire Lambert, and Michael Lambert, two great grandchildren, a sister, Lucille (Tom) Dallmann, Wauwatosa, and two brothers, Richard Pickhardt, Waterloo, and Charles (Barb) Pickhardt, Madison.
