Dorothy T. Poetter, age 92, of Beaver Dam, died Monday, November 26, 2012 at Charleston House Memory Care in Beaver Dam.

Visitation for Dorothy will be at St. Joseph”s Catholic Church, 807 W. Lake Street in Friendship, Wisconsin, on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at church on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Fr. James McNamee officiating. Burial will be at St. Leo Cemetery in Friendship.

The former Dorothy Theresa Bagneski was born on June 25, 1920 in Adams, Wisconsin to the late Walter and Rose (Reith) Bagneski. She grew up in that area and graduated from Adams Friendship High School. Dorothy was united in marriage with Harvey C. Poetter; they lived in Beaver Dam where she was a member of St. Michael”s Catholic Church and had been active in the Rosary Society.

Survivors include her sister, Esther Soley of Friendship, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Ralph Bagneski and Al Bagneski.
