E. Emily Lueck, age 86, of Beaver Dam, died Friday, October 19, 2007 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
Friends and family may call at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 511 South Spring Street in Beaver Dam, on Tuesday, October 23 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at church on Tuesday, beginning at 11:00 AM. Fr. Carlos Florez will officiate. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens, Trenton Township, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
The former Elinor Emily Hammer was born on November 7, 1920 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to the late Joseph and Caroline (Frank) Hammer. On July 15, 1939, she was united in marriage with Elmer “Stoney” Lueck in Beaver Dam. Emily worked at Woolworth”s in Beaver Dam and later at Beaver Specialties. She also volunteered at the Catholic Schools and the Senior Center in Beaver Dam. Emily was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish and she enjoyed bowling for many years.
Survivors include her son, Lynn (Diane) Lueck of Milwaukee, six grandchildren, Barry (Heidi) Lueck of Madison, Brady (Brenda) Lueck of Burlington, Kim (John) Bielinski of Milwaukee, Kris Lueck of Beaver Dam, Kate (Kyle) Strankowski of Allenton, and Stacy (Dan) Van Buren of Beaver Dam, nine great grandchildren, Justin Lueck, Tony Lueck, Emily Lauth, Danielle Van Buren, Jared Bielinski, Ryan Bielinski, Dylan Strankowski, Marisa Strankowski, and Olivia Lueck, her sister-in-law, Beatrice Lueck of Sun Prairie, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Emily was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Richard Lueck, her daughter, Marilyn Patrick, and five brothers and sisters.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Emily Lueck”s name to The American Cancer Society, 8317 Elderberry Road, Madison WI 53717.
