Sending my sincere condolences to Ed's family. He was a friend, classmate and one of the neighborhood kids during his time in Saginaw and at Douglas MacArthur HS. He certainly was one of the good guys. It's very sad to learn of his passing.

My brother Ed loved life and enjoyed his family and friends. I was very fortunate to be Ed's younger brother in a family of seven. Ed was a great example for Paul and I, whether it be mom and dad, running a paper route or learning basketball and golf. Ed had an awesome jump shot in basketball that Paul and I learned from him. I will never forget how well he played as a freshman in high school at St. Stephens in Saginaw Michigan.
Through the years it was great to be able to call Ed for advice on anything. This has been incredibly hard, thankful to have so many memories. Thanks for everything I can't put into words how much you will be missed.
Paul Jacobs left a message on March 8, 2018:
My Uncle Ed was always so sincere and caring toward me as his Godson. He had an infectious laugh and knew how to have fun. He took an interest in my life which really meant something to me. Family is the most important thing and Uncle Ed resembled that to a t. Our birthdays are very close to each other and this last December I gave him a call on his. Even though he'd been struggling to just about anything, he was enjoying time with family. He took the time to talk to me, ask me how things were going in my new phase of life. Cheers to you Uncle Ed, to your new phase in Heaven. The Whiffenpoof Club lost a special special member. We love you and we'll be missing you!
