Edward H. Lichtenberg, age 83, of Beaver Dam and formerly of Illinois, died on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Prairie Ridge Memory Care in Waupun, Wisconsin.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison.

Edward Howard Lichtenberg, was born on March 30, 1927 in Evanston, IL the son of Howard and Mary (Griswold) Lichtenberg. On September 21, 1957 in Chicago, he was united in marriage to Marjory Greer.

Edward was a graduate of the Sullivan High School in Chicago and served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He was a graduate of the Illinois School of Optometry in Chicago. He was also a salesman for a packaging company in Chicago and then later a partner in a Roofing Contracting Business in Chicago.

Edward is survived by his wife, Marjory Lichtenberg of Beaver Dam, two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (David) Bestor of Beaver Dam, and Dorothy Wiggs of Fort Wayne, IN, Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Edward was preceded in death by his parents.
