Edward Taticek, 74, of Mayville, died on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to noon, at Gateway Community Church, Mayville. Memorial services will be held on Saturday at noon at the church. The Rev. Bob Marsh will officiate.

Edward was born on Jan. 10, 1935, in Milwaukee, the son of Frank and Florence (Mohr) Taticek. He was married to Ann Miller on Oct. 14, 1967, in Ohio.

Edward retired from Milwaukee Road Railroad. He attended Gateway Community Church, Mayville. He enjoyed trains, puzzles and looms.

Survivors include sister, Eleanor (Kenneth A.) Bunney, Horicon, and brother, Frank (Millie) Taticek, Arizona; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 2004, and one sister, Flora.
