Elvira Kamrath, age 90, of Mayville passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Juneau.Funeral services for Elvira Kamrath of 1439 Dayton St., Mayville, will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church (River Church), Tn. Theresa on Thursday, July 24th at 1:00 p.m. A visitation will also be held on Thursday, at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 11:00 .m. – 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Tn. Theresa.Elvira Anita Kuehl was born on July 14, 1924, the daughter of George and Ella (Machmueller) Kuehl of rural Mayville. She was made a member of God’s family through Holy Baptism and later confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville. On April 7, 1945 she was united in marriage to Hilbert Kamrath in Mayville. Together they worked the family farm in the town of Theresa until Hilbert’s passing. Elvira was then employed at Cedar Lake Home in West Bend as a cook until her retirement.The Lord blessed Elvira and Hilbert’s union with three children: a son Lloyd of Mayville, and two daughters Diane and Kristine of Theresa.Elvira is survived by her son Lloyd (Bonnie) Kamrath and her daughter Kristine (Jeffrey) Jaster; six grandchildren Joel (Christina) Kamrath, Jamey Kamrath, Scott (Mary) Jaster, Benji (Melinda) Kamrath, Nicole (Adam) Oestrieich, and Eric (Molly) Jaster; ten great grandchildren Alexus, Braedyn, Paxton, Hannah, Colin, Reece, Brevon, Olivia, Nahla and baby Sulley; one sister Arlene (Reuben) Pribnow; one sister-in-law Evelyn Kamrath; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hilbert in 1972, a daughter Diane in 1971, two brothers Clarence Kuehl and Harold Kuehl, brothers-in-law Erwin Kamrath, Harvey Kamrath, and Lawrence Neitzel, sisters-in-law Gertrude Kuehl, Phyllis Kuehl, Ruth Kamrath, and Esther Neitzel.
