Sarah (Klavekoske) Diels left a message on October 6, 2020:
The Riehbrandt boys were always considered to be additional older brothers of ours - just next door - and Ethel - a saint indeed for taking care of all of us at one time or another growing up. May she rest in peace.

Where to begin....
Ethel saved my life one day when I thought I was going to burn our house down sneaking into the cupboard for snacks when I was supposed to be watching TV while Rosie took someone to practice. Just this weekend I heard the story involving a metal stake at the athletic field and Aaron almost bleeding to death and Ethel stepped in there as well. So that's two Klavo's she saved from ourselves. There is nothing more I'd rather do on Wednesday than to sit around with all of you and remember what a great lady she was. But that is something that will have to wait for a different time. Our thoughts are with all of you during this time. And when the time is right, the deck will be open.
Jackie Burke left a message on October 5, 2020:
I didn't know Ethel, but Rick and Kelly are my neighbors and I know Rick's brothers. The loss of a parent is always difficult no matter our age. They are all in my thoughts. My sympathies for their loss.
