Eunice Mary Bradell, age 93, of Horicon, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
Visitation for Eunice will be at St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church in Horicon on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at church on Tuesday beginning at 11:00 AM. Rev. Daniel Seehafer will officiate. Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery.
The former Eunice Mary Borchert was born on April 25, 1919 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to the late Edward B. and Alvina M. (Hieden) Borchert. She was raised in Fond du Lac and worked at the Town Talk Bakery for many years before working at Fred Rueping Leather Company during World War II. On March 22, 1940, Eunice was united in marriage with Vern Drexel; he preceded her in death. Eunice was later united in marriage with Henry Bradell on July 24, 1953. Together they owned and operated Bradell”s Bakery in Horicon for 8 years. Eunice was a member of St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church in Horicon.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane (Ronald) Dukes of Horicon; two grandchildren, Kim (Kevin) Rohloff of Mayville and Roddy (Anneliese) Dukes of California; three great grandchildren, Abigail Kranig, Brynn Rohloff, and Caitlin Rohloff; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Vern Drexel; her second husband, Henry Bradell; an infant brother, Edward; and four sisters, Irene Borchert, Violet Kryzyanowski, Gertrude Hicks, and Joan Spencer.
If desired, memorials may be made in Eunice Bradell”s name to St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church, 500 N. Palmatory, Horicon, WI 53032.
