Evelyn A. Kamrath, 94, of Mayville passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the home of her son.Evelyn was born the daughter of Leon and Della (Pribnow) Zimmel on April 21, 1923 in the township of Theresa. She was married to Erwin R. Kamrath on August 23, 1941 in Huilsburg, WI. Evelyn was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church (River Church), township of Theresa. She was a member of the Mayville Senior Center. Evelyn enjoyed playing cards, bingo and puzzles as well as crafting and quilt making. Evelyn is survived by her children: Norman (Diane) Kamrath of Mayville and Sandra (Gavin) Brewer of Horicon; her brother-in-law, Rueben (Ellie) Neumann of Beaver Dam; five grandchildren: Amy Kamrath, Angela Kamrath, Kimberly Kamrath, Nicholas Brewer and Patrick (fiancée Megan) Brewer; three step-grandchildren: Shawn (Tolyn) Brewer, Troy Brewer, and Matthew Brewer; two great-grandchildren: Dylan and Isabella; and further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Erwin in 1994; four sisters: Arlene, Mildred, Helen and LaVerne; and her brother, Lester.A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville, and also on Wednesday, October 25th from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church (River Church), township of Theresa. Rev. Douglas Zahner will officiate. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery in Theresa. Evelyn’s family would like to thank Agnesian Hospice Hope of Fond du Lac for their loving compassion, kindness and caring hearts.Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church (River Church).
