Evelyn B. Leetch, age 88, of Horicon passed away on January 22, 2019 at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.Evelyn was born the daughter of Emil and Helen (Weiler) Pufahl on February 20, 1930 in Horicon. She was united in marriage to James Leetch on June 4, 1966 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau. In her spare time Evelyn enjoyed taking care of her house plants and had a love of animals especially cats and dogs. Evelyn enjoyed many trips to Barron & Polk Counties in Northern WI with her husband to visit his family every year. She is survived by her husband James of 52 years from Horicon, her children- Jerry (Orfita) Umland of Lutz, FL., Judy (Ron Burke) Gilmore of Sun City, AZ., and Debbie (John) Jacobs of Horicon. Her 4 grandchildren – Michelle Neverman of Beaver Dam, Jon (Kate) Umland of Gardiner, ME, Rachel (Nathan) Gardner of Peoria, AZ and Justin Jacobs of Horicon and 5 great grandchildren, Matthew, Lia, and Emilie Umland, and Jovian Gilpin and Roman Gardner. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her son Ricky Umland, sister Ruth (Harvey) Beske, great grandson Nathanael Hillebrand, and her granddaughter’s husband Derrick Neverman.The family wishes to thank the staff at Clearview Nursing Home for their compassionate care.
