Florence E. Burhans, age 85, of Horicon, died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam

Private family services will be held.

The former Florence Ellen Zoesch was born on January 8, 1928 in Park Falls, Wisconsin to Arthur and Lena A. (Meier) Zoesch. On June 25, 1949 she was united in marriage with Pat Lawrence Paul Burhans in Park Falls. He preceded her in death on April 22, 1998.

Survivors are her children Julie (Jack) Hoffman of Oconomowoc, Jay (Andri) Burhans of Tucson, AZ, and Jeri (Jon) Griffith of Boston, MA; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter-in-law; and one sister.
