Frank L. King

Frank L. King, age 76, of Horicon passed away on Thursday, February 08,2018 at Marvin’s Manor in Horicon. A funeral service for Frank will take place on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville with the Rev. Fr. Michael Petrie presiding. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 13 from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac. Frank was born the son of Stewart and Janett (Scanell) King on August 8, 1941 in Beaver Dam. He had been employed at Fred Ruping Leather Company in Fond du Lac. In his spare time, Frank volunteered with the Fond du Lac REACT team, the auxiliary police, and Skywarn where he storm spotted for the Fond du Lac area. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with electronics, the Green Bay Packers, and loved listening to his scanners. Frank is survived by his daughter- Angelette Thieleke of Horicon. His granddaughter- Shannara Guerra. His sister- Dawn Maramonte of Hartford. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mary (Elton) Hilkemeier and Jean (Larry) Farrell, a sister and brother in infancy and his canine companion Muffy.
