Gerald “Jerry” Petersen, 90, of The Villages, FL, and previously of Beaver Dam, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 after a short illness. Jerry worked as a jeweler, owning his own store in Wisconsin for several years. He then became an insurance agent for Rogers Benefit Group for many years. He was a born again Christian and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Flordia. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army. He was very pleased to have taken part in The Honor Flight Program in The Villages. Jerry enjoyed golf and bowling with his friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Connie Petersen; son, Scott Petersen (Fran); Connie’s extended loving family including, Cary Ryan (Karen), Cheri Warren (Steve) and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, David Petersen. A funeral service for Jerry will take place on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Immanuel Baptist Church, FL. Burial will take place Monday, March 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun, Wisconsin.
