Gerald L. ‘Jiggy’ Salzwedel, 82, of Columbus passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the Larson House in Columbus.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Columbus with the Rev. Robert Wilke officiating. A visitation will also be held on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Columbus with graveside military honors conducted by the Columbus Legion Post #62.

Gerald was born on September 2, 1930 in Columbus, WI, the son of Herbert A. and Mabel (Hemling) Salzwedel. H
