Glenn Allen Neuendorf

April 30, 1941 - April 20, 2012

Glenn A. “Neut” Neuendorf, age 70, of Beaver Dam, died on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

The visitation will be at Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM. The service will follow at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Eileen Kuehnl officiating. Burial will be at Stone Cemetery, Town of Burnett, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

Glenn Allen Neuendorf was born on April 30, 1941 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Ralph and Bernice (Moldenhauer) Neuendorf. He was a 1959 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. Glenn entered the United States Navy and was on the USS Charles P. Cecil during the Cuban Missile Crisis. On January 8, 1972 he was united in marriage with Edith Lischka at First Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. He worked for Metalcraft in Mayville for 34 years. Glenn was an avid coin collector. He loved his family, especially his daughters, and will be greatly missed.

Glenn is survived by his daughters, Jeanette and Lisa; two brothers, Roger (Elaine) and Ronald (Joyce); a sister, Ellen (Harvey) Voigt, all of Beaver Dam; brothers-in-law, Robert (Kay) Lischka and Joe (Ruth) Lischka, both of Watertown, and Ronald (Eileen) Lischka of Beaver Dam; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Koehler of Watertown, June (David) Gubin of Juneau, Dolores (Dennis) Gubin of Mayville, Ruth Lischka of Clarksville, TN, Fran Lischka of Lake Mills, and Marilyn (Claude) Krahn of Watertown; a special aunt, Pat Moldenhauer of Belle Fourche, SD; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in 2004, sisters-in-law, Marion Witter and Helen Erdman, brothers-in-law, Lawrence Koehler, James Lischka, Sr., Alois Lischka, Jr., and Herbert Lischka, and an uncle, Wayne “Pete” Moldenhauer.

My condolences to the family. I never met the man but Lisa and I have history together and I know from experience that losing a parent is heart wrenching. May you feel their presence in the everyday things you do and know that they are watching you, yes you can feel it.
