Hattie Heiman-Ward, age 94, formerly of Reeseville, died on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no formal services and cremation has taken place.
The former Hattie Zenger was born on April 22, 1918 in Thun, Switzerland to Frederich and Louisa (Bachman) Zenger. She was united in marriage with Adolph Heiman. After his death in 1945, she married Howard Ward on November 1, 1958. Hattie lived in the Reeseville area for over 30 years.
Survivors are her children, Frederich (Judie) Heiman of McFarland, Edward (Linda) Heiman of Taylor, and Lawrence (Myrna) Heiman of Columbus; step-children, Lawrence (Rose) Ward of Marshall, Kenneth (Jeanette) Ward of Huntingdon, TN, and Rhonda (Jerry) Neuberger of Waterloo; daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Heiman; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Hattie was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; her son, Albert Heiman; step-son, Charles Ward; grandson, Chris Heiman; six sisters; one brother; and a daughter-in-law, Janet Heiman.
If desired, memorials may be made in Hattie Ward”s name to Golden Living Center, 410 Roedl Court, Beaver Dam, WI 53916.
